Thonvi Privacy Policy

Thonvi does not require a separate account. We do not sell personal information or use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Editing and effect processing take place on your device. Your imported images, text, audio and stored preferences are not sent to us, and we have no remote access to them. Face and object detection is used locally for visual effects, without identifying people; detection results are temporarily held in memory.

When iCloud is available, selected preferences—including effect settings, colours, palettes and their names—sync through your personal iCloud account. This synchronisation does not include imported images, audio or composition text.

Apple processes purchases. The app checks transaction and subscription information to enable paid features. We do not receive payment card details. Create with AI opens Apple Image Playground, which may use external services, including ChatGPT, depending on your choices. These services may process information internationally under their applicable privacy terms. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Image Playground information.

On iPhone and iPad, deleting Thonvi removes its locally stored app data; offloading it retains that data. On Mac, local preferences may remain after uninstalling. Synced preferences, backups and separately saved files may remain after deletion, and settings may return following reinstallation or restoration.

If you contact us, we use your email address and message to respond, retaining correspondence only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry or meet legal obligations. Where applicable, our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required.

When you use Feedback, we store the feature requests, votes, comments, and screenshots you submit. You may optionally provide a name and email address and consent to updates about your request. Contact details are visible only to the Thonvi team and are not shown publicly. Please do not include personal or confidential information in public submissions.

Opening Feedback from the app creates an anonymous browser profile and a secure session cookie that lasts for up to 30 days. The cookie is used only to keep you signed in, associate your votes and comments, and prevent duplicate voting. We do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@thonvi.com to exercise your rights.

We will update this policy when our practices change and provide notice of material changes in the app.
